IPOD Shuffle Sport Case |
| I bought the sport case about a month ago in hopes of keeping my shuffle from behaving erratically during my long runs. Sweat would seep into the small cracks and make the shuffle impossible to use. With the sport case, I no longer have to worry about that. It is very well constructed, does add a little weight to the overall package (but not much), and can even let you run in the rain with no problem. It's a great buy! |

Great case |
| Another reviewer mentioned that her 3rd party headphones didn't fit. Inside the case is a small adaptor for third party headphones (a 4 inch extention cable so that any headphones can connect.) At first I was thinking it was a little pricey, but the quality is top notch. Yes, it does add a little extra weight (and bulk) but the seal is excellent and I have no doubt that sweat or rain will not be a problem whatsoever. iPodlounge (now iLounge) gave it a glowing review. Most cases expose the switch in the back or the controls up front. This does not. Access to the controls are provided as a rubberized covering thats molded to the shape of the controls. I was going to get some sort of armband at first, but a jiggling cord while running would have been annoying to me. I just place this around my neck, under the sirt and go. Easy. Great case. And it looks good too! |

GREAT unless you buy third-party headphones |
All the positive comments below are so true (except the heavy comment in my opinion.) I loved the sportcase! it really does keep out the elements and I loved that it covered the controls. It will keep your shuffle pristine if you put it on from day 1! Get a sumajin cord wrap to match and you are stylin'.
I had a problem though, when I bought the etymotic er6i headphones. the design of the sportcase didn't allow the jack to be fully inserted in the hole, so they didn't work. it sounded like i had a short in the cord. first i though something was wrong with the headphones cord. i sent them back to etymotic. of course they found nothing wrong. then i thoght something was wrong with the shuffle. of course apple just sent me a new shuffle since they get your credit card number before you send your shuffle to them. then i realized after all this, it was the sportcase that was incompatible.
if you keep your Apple headphones THIS PRODUCT IS GREAT. |
