| Definitely a beauty... I recommend you to upgrade it to 1024 mb ram as you are buying with only a little charge (dont remember the exact amount right now, but should be around $130. check the apple store online) its design is completely marvelous. lots of little details which help you enjoy turning on your computer. for instance, the brightness of the screen is adjusted automatically according to the ambient brigthness. you may press a button on the battery itself and see how full the battery is without even turning on the computer. very very easy to carry around, weighs very little. and tiger really does seem to be best operating system around. nothing you do on your computer will seem dull or monotonous anymore if you own this laptop. it sure is worth every cent. however, be sure that you will be able to do everything that you want on a mac platform. it maybe a problem for long time pc users like me, but as i said, tiger definitely is the best operating system around. we will see if windows vista will get anywhere near it. |

Best laptop out there!! |
| This is a great laptop all around. Great screen, very lightweight, slim in size and with the most stable OS out there. I'm a previous PC owner (Toshiba Satellite Pro) and the peace of mind that Apple computers bring you is unparalleled, I don't even have an antivirus and no problem so far. The only, and I mean the only, negative thing about this Powerbook is that it gets incredibly hot, if you like working with the computer in your lap this is very bad. |

| I think this powerbook is great. i love everything about other then the fact that it is a little slow for it's class. The backlight keyboard only stinks because it keeps me up to late in to the night. The slightly slower power for it's price doesn't really bother me because it does everything I want it to do. this is truly a go anywhere do anything laptop. Unless you don't want any scratches on it. the wide screen was awkward when i first opened it up, but after a coupe minutes I couldn't stand looking at my square emacs screen. I can't even use my friends ibook any more. Anyway the single most expensive purchase of my life and is probably the best purchase I will evn schooler make because it has helped me so much in school. |
