Better than you could imagine

Last month my entire CD collection was misplaced. It was in a knapsack that disappeared in a luggage moving misunderstanding. Anyways, a little while later after I had grieved the loss of all my music, I decided to upgrade technology to an Ipod. At first I was going to purchase an Ipod mini but upgrading to the regular 20 gb ipod which had soooo much more space was a relatively small expense.

I am SO glad I got this version of the ipod! It even has a colour screen, which I didn't think I would use, but ended up putting lots of pictures on. So in my pocket I can carry all the music I could ever need and love, and pictures too! The only issue I have with this product are the hidden costs. I mean, you obviously should buy warranty, which was almost 100 dollars for me, and then you should obviously buy a neoprene protector, and obviously a travel case...One must just keep in mind that the price on the shelf is only like half the price you end up paying. Also, if you want to connect the ipod to your car stereo you have to buy a connector cable, and its very tempting to buy speakers too...

I am too delighted with this product to think about the cost, though. Whenever I walk somewhere, I pop on my earphones and clip this amazing machine to my belt or an armband. The sound is great. It is just so handy. No more worrying about scratching CDs, and carrying them around for that matter!

This thing is amazing. Just make sure you protect it. From scratches and from the rest of the world, who would seize it in an instant I'm sure.

some good Ipods and some are bad

I got my I pod a year ago and I had alot of crap go rong with it from freezes on me to just strate die, Lucky for me I had a three year warranty, I got at bestbuy trust me I think half of the ipods are not perfected yet,I returned it like three time befor thay fix it, o ya on a note if it freezs on you just hold the midle boton and the menu at the same time for 10 to 15 sec and its fix, I love it just wish the batery was removble thanks for the read.

Be Warned!!!

When my iPod was working I thought it was great. However, just one month after the warranty expired the iPod failed, and no longer works. Apple wants ~$270 just to look at it, or they will gladly help you on the phone for just $49. How nice of them!

Before you buy an iPod, please read through some discussion groups and see for yourself. iPods are notorious for failing after little more than a year, and Apple will do nothing for you!
