Absolutely Superb |
| This is the best cordless phone system I've seen. I compared the build quality of several brands at the store and the Uniden came out on top--very solid and looks like it will hold up over time. Installation was a breeze; the user interface is great. Sound quality and range are exceptional. I get a clear signal in every corner of my house as well as outside. The intercom feature is very useful, both for in house conversations and to tell someone a call is for them. The base station is a full function speaker phone even without a handset. |

Excellent Answering System/ Expandable Phone Set !! |
I like to wait a couple months before reviewing something, so now that I've had this for 4 months, here are a few thoughts.
I think this is a terrific phone system. I bought the 3 handset system and since it's expandable, I ended up purchasing 3 additional handsets to cover all floors of my house with a single system. The display is excellent, although some of the buttons are small.
I really like the answering machine functionality, including a switchable alert tone for messages. The tone is enough to get your attention, but not annoyingly loud that you have to retrieve your messages to shut it up. Each handset has an alert light if you have messages, and you can retrieve them from any handset.
There are enough ringtones to satisfy anyone's tastes. I've used the handsfree adapter on a 90 minute conference call while sitting outside on the deck and there was no dropoff of reception.
Sound quality and battery life are both excellent.

| I am not at all sure what some people complained about. The reception is crystal clear whether sending or receiving and the range is good as well. Extremely simple to set up and program. Great features. I held off a month before rating it due to a negative review which said that the phone they received worked well for a short period of time and then malfunctioned. I have nothing but praise. If I had one negative comment it would be on the backlight color (blue would have been a superior choice). Choose this phone system with confidence. |
