Perfect for price |
| The camera is perfect. If using the camera for keeping in touch with friends and family this is the camera for you. The picture is clear not to grainy. The only heads up is lighting. Try to use the camera in a well light area. We are stationed in Japan and use the camera almost daily to spend time with family back home. The camera has added great joy to the family especially when feeling homesick. The best part is the price won't break the bank! |

Easy to use, easy to install, affordable! |
| That's basically all you need to know right there. This camera is 30 dollars under in most places, its durable, its easy to use, installation is a breeze, and there are no hidden programs that pop up when you install, nor any drivers required if you have Windows XP. Taking pictures, saving them, e-mailing pictures, talking on Yahoo! Messenger; they're all quick an easy to use. The manual is easy to read, easy to understand, and everything you need is in the box. The only thing that could make this better is a built in microphone, but most people want to have a better quality microphone anyways. 640x480 at 30 frames per second is pretty standard, and looks pretty good for what you're paying. Its true you could get a better one that has crisper resolution and 60 frames per second, but at a much higher cost. Logitech is known for their quality, and quality is what they provoide with the QuickCam Messenger WebCam. I've already recommended this to three of my friends, and all three have thanked me for it. For 30 bucks, you might as well give it a shot. |

Mine works great and I love it |
I have Windows 98 ME and I like mine. I like to buy and test various products and don't understand why others are having problems. Perhaps their PC doesn't meet the minimum requirements for this product; and one shouldn't complain about all the software or the process one needs to go through to get started. I ran mine on Windows ME with an AMD Duron processor. You can't beat the price and a built in microphone. Sure its a cheap webcam, I bought mine thru a third part of Amazon at around 25 bux and it was shipped fast too. The following is off the box.
