Answer That and Stay Fashionable

Average rating: Stars
Stars Stop hating on Davey
Davey "evolved" get over it. His newer emo stuff is different, it would have been hard for AFI to keep pounding out skater punk athems on every CD. I think this CD shows just how amazing they were at old school punk music, and their newer stuff shows they can still put out an amazing CD today with their new sound. Either way you look at it you can't deny that AFI is one of the most original and best bands of all time.

Stars Good album!
This is not an album a recent addition to the AFI fan base will apreciate. In other words, pre Psudo Goth Emo Davey. Sing the Sorrow providing an exelent example of what selling out will do for you. This album is awesome, a solid production of pounding 2 and a half minute East Bay Punk anthems. And none of the whiny slowed down gothic BS that some of us have come to except as AFI.

Stars I'm Sorry, I Just Really Dislike Early AFI
I was introduced to AFI with Sing the Sorrow (their best album in my opinion). I decided to check out their other ones and have found that as I reach further back in time they get worse and worse and worse. This was not a good CD. Far too immature. Although I did like the use of "Reservoir Dogs" audio clips (especially at the very end of the album when someone says the band sucks and Mr. Pink says his famous quote, "I'm very sorry about that but some fellas are lucky and some ain't.")

Apart from one or two entertaining songs I didn't enjoy this album of theirs. Lots of people say this was one of their best or their best... I think it's because either A) it's the AFI they were introduced to or B) they like this sort of off-the-wall, Offspring-influenced immaturity (I'm not using "immaturity" as a bad word here, just so you know, just a term for a different taste in music).

Basically what I'm saying is that, punk fans, here's your AFI. Me and the other non-punk fans will stay with what AFI has become.
